Using wool pants instead of a diaper cover

I am using Snug to Fit all in one's for my 14 month old son and am looking for an alternative to using diaper covers. He has Bummies covers right now and although they work well, he seems awkward in them, and they also have caused chaffing on his skin at times. Does anyone use lanolized wool pants instead of a diaper cover? If so, is there a brand/ style you could recommend? I don't want to waste my money experimenting if I can get feedback from mom's who have tried them. Thanks!

I am learning all I can about wool covers in anticipation for my next baby. Bummis worked great for my daughter but I'm anxious to try a more natural method next time. Wool covers can be in the form of wool pants (longies), wool shorts (shorties), wool wraps, or pull-on style soakers. I have made a few wool covers from recycled wool sweaters because I, too, don't want to spend a fortune on wool before I know if I'll like it.
That said, a good place to buy recycled wool covers is at etsy.com.

I use wool longies all the time and they work great. I try to keep the lanolin off the legs because dirt sticks to it though.
