A Business Card Emergency!

My sister has been making jewelery for the past ten years and been doing very well with selling it. Recently she was in Las Vegas for a month and was robbed from her hotel room.

Other than her purse with all her id being stolen, she also lost a lot of her business materials -- including business cards.

A lot she can do without for the time being but she needs business cards ASAP! Her new order won't come in for a couple of weeks but she needs some this week as she will be approaching stores.

Another difficulty is that we're both in huge transitions in our lives and have no money. Like really...no money!! No money as in we're going to deliver telephone books today because we're so broke

Anyways... does anybody know how we can fabricate something on the spur of the moment that looks professional AND IS CHEAP!?

Any suggestions would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Thank you!!

vista print has free business cards - but I don't know if it has the turnaround time you need.

Sorry to hear about your sister's loss. That really sucks.

Staples will let you create cards online and then pick them up at the store near you 4 hours later.... it's $30 for 200 cards, so not all that cheap, but very fast!

I agree....vistaprint is affordable, and they do turn around pretty quickly. I always pick the lowest price shipping (which they say will take like a few weeks to arrive) and they always arrive in less than a week or so.

I've been hearing a lot lately about Vista Print... If it takes less than a week that'd be perfect! Thanks for the tips everyone!

FedEx-Kinkos can also do them same day. I don't know the price.

Vista's OK, but you have to pay "processing" which gets pricier the faster you need the cards.

I made a few dozen business cards on my ink jet back when I was just starting out. If you have a color printer, or can live with black and white cards for now, you might pick up some business card perforated cardstock sheets from Staples or Office Depot and print your own.
