I hope so! It's a very gradual process since I don't have much time to work on it, but I tested out the window trick and it works!!! I'm going to do [URL="http://www.flickr.com/photos/30975615@N08/3871655028/in/set-72157622094612309/"]these big windows/URL] on both sides of the 2nd floor to maximize light up there.

I really want to get in and do some more window cut-outs but just haven't had time. And we're still doing some learning with the router, so it may be a while before we start assembling.

I told dh to leave the backside of the attic open to let in light from the bow window.

I need to get more 3 Beautiful Bees beeswax, but I covered the inside and roof with what I had left. I also told him he didn't need to put stairs in (I thought they'd be in the way and I was right).

What do you think?
Very nice! I love it. You can make your own beeswax polish. It's mostly oil (mineral, walnut, jojoba, etc.) with only a little bit of beeswax in it.

And you ladies know you could make this stuff yourself...

I finished yesterday and I'm excited so I'm spamming everyone with pics. The spouse never did really get into it, so I did it myself.

Here it is!

Except for a little splitting when I screwed the roof on, it worked perfectly. Well...and I had planned for cute little panes in each window, but my scroll-saw skills are rusty, so I compromised. ;P I love it though! I'm really excited to have done it and I can't wait for DS to get home tomorrow and see it!
