default on CC question

We got financing for 4 new tires and a warranty on a CC at a major tire place about a year ago, well we defaulted on the card is the warranty still good? or as soon as i pull up in the place and they pull up our name in the computer will the repo the tires? how does that work?

please no flames...i'm just seriously wondering because we need to get the tires rotated, etc and i'd rather go to this place but if they hate me then i'll go somewhere else

I would go somewhere else unless the default was discharged in bankruptcy. They would most likely have grounds to not honor the warranty if you default however I would review the paperwork that you received with the purchase if you still have it. It is a possibility though that the purchase itself was completely separate from the credit (like a store who issues financing through a third party). In that case it would be highly unlikely that they would have any information whatsoever on the default and it would be perfectly ok to go back. I hope that makes sense
