i hate using prefolds-help w/ AIO OR other cd

I sort of posted about this before. I have prefolds and thirsty covers. They are SO hot. Baby has been getting a red bum from them (but not from 7th gen disposable which we sometimes use). I am looking now for cloth diapers that are more wicking. I know that there will be many opinions but that is good. Also tell me where you buy if it is online.

Thanks!!

Okay, I know you asked for an AIO suggestion. But, we use only prefolds and Thirsties covers. We have tried a variety of different AIOs and I always end up selling or giving them away.

So, let me address your issue (if you don't mind...). I have found Thirsties covers to be very breathable. Therefore, high temperatures have not affected DD's skin. But, not changing a wet and/or soild diaper ASAP will cause redness (cloth or paper). So, I provide a fresh dipe regularly. Additionally, some detergents and/or detergent residue can cause redness. So, I make sure to use a cloth diaper friendly detergent and rinse the dipes once or twice after each wash cycle (1 cold wash, 1 hot wash w/ detergent, 2 warm rinses).

I just wanted to offer my : before you invest in another set of cloth diapers.

Another thing that sometimes works with a pf is to lay a fleece liner in there - it helps to wick moisture away...

As far as aio - thirsties have worked well for us. They have decent absorbancy, then you can add an insert into the pocket if you need more...

Jamtots berry plush All in 2's are my personal favorite. Never a diaper rash or red bum with these. I second trying the liner though before you invest in more dipes. You can just buy thin fleece and cut it into strips. It's a very cheap solution if it works.

I just recently tried the new organic dream eze AIO - love it! The liners are attached on the outside for easier cleaning and drying and it snaps, so no dealing with pilly aplix.

Another one of my favorites is the Blueberry hybrid - you can stuff it with a doubler if you need extra absorbency! It's so super soft, even when it's soaked, you can barely tell - it really pulls the moisture away from the baby's bum.

Fuzzi Bunz are great at keeping Baby dry. I love them for this. The insert can be soaked, but when I touch the fleece, you'd hardly know! I have never tried a OS, but I do love their sized diapers.
