Felt baby booties- adorable!

I just made a pair of the felt baby booties. They are ADORABLE! I am going to make a pair for everyone I know having a baby. I am still mostly a novice at needle craft type of projects, but these were easy with a little practice. Check it out: http://www.simplicity.com/dv1_v4.cfm?design=2867

i have that pattern but I haven't tried it yet. I'm glad to hear they are pretty easy. We just found out that we are having a girl so I can't wait to go try it out now :

Oh I love these made some for my DD years ago. DId not know they had a pattern though. Their are several freebies out there if any of you are interested.

Those are cute, do they need interfacing or anything, or just felt?

The pattern calls for just felt. Although after seeing the threads on the inside, I am going to try to do some kind of lining, maybe just some light cotton. I just wouldn't want a thread to come loose and wrap around a baby's toe or anything! I guess if you always make sure baby wears socks, just the felt would work out fine.
