Any way to delete a locked thread?

I'd really like to delete an old thread that I started (for personal privacy reasons). Can I do this and how? It is archived.

You can pm an admin or moderator in order to get assistance.

Even if the thread wasn't closed there are often a few quotes on threads, it would probably be more difficult to track down members who quoted rather than just pm a staff member.
