My babies don't like my milk

I am sad and confused and scared here.

My ds 3 mo is virtually striking all week. He will nurse when very sleepy, and yesterday, occasionally otherwise.

Ds 16 mo is being really weird. HE acts like he desperately wants to nurse, settles happily at the breast, and as soon as he gets a taste, pulls off spitting.

I am guessing my milk has changed taste, but as far as I can tell, that only points to one thing, being pregnant. IF that is true then I am literally on the verge of dispair. I cannot handle drying up again. (my milk was gone feb last year, I nursed for 7 months w/ an SNS, but it was too hard to do w/ 2!)

HELP, I need advice, please!

Don't realy have an answer, just wanted to send you support. Could it be the return of your period?

When you say your baby is striking, is he still nursing? Does he have wet/dirty diapers? Is he just getting more, quicker?

Did you have a breast infection? That can make the milk salty. Have you tasted it?

Can you go get a pregnancy test? Can you call a IBCLC?

Sending you lots of love and positive vibes!

Well, I was going to suggest food allergies as well, but that wouldn't explain why the 16 month is rejecting the breast as well, but it could still be diet, just not necessarily allergics, kwim? Has your diet change dramatically lately (are you eating more garlic, onions, broccoli...ect...things that would make your milk taste different)? Is it possible you are pregnant, getting AF or that there is some other hormonal issue at play (like recent start or switch of hormonal bc)? Is it possible the dc have thrush? Are your dc teething (less likely that this would happen to both of them at the same time...especially at your dc's current ages, but could still be the culprit). and I hope you can figure out the root of the problem asap! nak
