I don't know if this is a no-no becuase it's news? but I am so curious what others are thinking of Dr Phill and his Nadia Suleman Octomom coverage. I am glad that he is trying to help make things work... I am so torn, I want everybody to leave her alone... and something in me thinks somthing is really wrong there ... sigh I don't know what to think?

I agree with your assessment of the situation, but hadn't heard anything about Dr. Phil.

I've been watching Dr. Phil's coverage and I'm very curious what is going to happen now that she fired all the nurses from Angels in Waiting. I totally don't blame her for doing that either. It seems like they were out to get her, especially since that one lawyer lady who set it all up wanted the kids put into foster care to begin with! I'm glad she seems to be out of the spot light a little now.....just leave her alone people!

I think Dr. Phil should keep his nose out of this. It's the last place where it needs to be. So Nadia Suleman had eight kids? Not his problem, no the media's problem, and NOT Gloria Allred's problem. I think Gloria Allred and Dr. Phil and are looking for good publicity, honestly, and helping out the "poor, irresponsible octo-mom" seemed like a good way to do it. I can understand offering 24 hour *temporary* care of the octuplets, but it's really not necessary to do that for *all* the kids. I think the media is way too hard on Suleman. Her mom even came out and said she's an excellent mother. I just think that media doesn't want to allow anyone to think it's possible that she could *gasp* be happy to have fourteen children and perhaps might be doing her best to care for them. Nadia has hired her own nannies and I fully believe that the Angels in Waiting nannies were looking for anything to report to CPS. I'm glad she kicked them out. IMO, she should keep to herself, get some bodyguards, and stay out of the limelight for a good while.

You are so right; it makes me sick to see them - especially Gloria! She is so self righteous... The damage she is doing breaks my heart.

I do find it odd that Nadia can be so calm about everything though... it’s slightly unnerving ... if you know what I mean?

She really seems to be trying so hard, and with so much on her plate. I wish the media would give her a little slack and maybe people would be more willing to lend some support.

You know people like Dr. Phil and Ms Gloria are condemning her and the media is saying all she wants is media attention so I have an idea- ignore her! If we just turn the other way everyone wins.

You know, if I were Octomom and someone approached me and said, "Here, I've lined about round-the-clock preemie care for you" I'd jump at it. But, if it were phrased as "just so you know, if don't accept my offer, I'm filing a complaint with DCFS and seeking to have your babies taken away" I'd not be as excited to take them up on that, esp. if that someone was Gloria Allred (we all know how she haaaates to be in the media, too)

I think Dr Phil was one of the few people who could have bridged this gap, and I think he tried, based on the show I saw (my normal opinion of him notwithstanding) Everything has since been derailed, which is sad, this org and Octomom were a match made in heaven, but unfortunately, it was all orchestrated by the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

Probably just fine as Allred is just all about the publicity. Dr Phil was just fuel to the fire.

I agree....... DP just had her on for ratings IMO. ANd he continues to get ratings every time he has a whole show on, with updates on the latest.

Alred and the nurses kept saying "Where's the transparency she promised, the public needs to see whats going on"

And Nadias lawyer was just as creepy too........ the whole thing is creepy.

but....Nadia did except all the free swag and home improvments from Dr Phil and Co, so, she opened the door to that whole thing......
