Hi from a newbie

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello.

I am pregnant with number 2 (due on May 8th but started early labor 3 weeks ago). I would like to try CD with this baby and am just started to try and build a supply up. It is rather expensive! and as I don't know what I will like, what will work and a million other things, I am trying to get a few different options and then when I get off bed rest I plan on making a few myself.

So far I have purchased
1 DryBees Pocket Diaper
1 BumGenius 3.0 Pocket
1 BumGenius AIO and
2 BabyKicks Hemparoo Joey Bunz
1 Bumkins waterproof cover

I am planning on purchasing 1dz UBCPF and 1dz UBIPF along with pins and snappi's.

I have been reading the posts here and now realize how much I still need to buy! Which leads me to my first question

Where can I buy my prefolds and covers for dirt cheap? And do I need to research brands of the prefolds to make sure I get good ones??

Next I am going to have to fiqure out the setting on my washer - it was made the same year I was - so I don't know that it has more options than wash...

http://little-lions.com sells cheap unbleached indian prefolds. I think they're about $17.95/dozen for the infant size. They also sell prowraps (covers) for pretty cheap.
