Yes, I'm *so* hoping for a baby this Fri or over the weekend! May the full moon help along those that are pretty ready! C'mon babies!!

I have been thinking about that full moon for awhile - I hope so!!!!

I really want baby to come either today or tomorrow - (yea, right huh?) But if he isn't out by then, hoping this will coax him to come out on Thursday.

Yes! I am very aware of the full moon on Thursday night!!!!! My prediction is I'll go into labor on Thursday night and have the baby on Friday morning. I went into labor with my first child the night of a full moon, so here's hoping

oh please! I hope so! : I would like to go into labor before Thursday AM, though, so I can skip my mw appt. and the sweep!

See, I saw that the full moon was going to be on the 9th. Then it changed to the 11th. ??? I'm so confused. I always have my kids on fullmoons or within a day of. I also conceive on them so I'm holding out hope for it.

My only fear is that a bunch of women in our area will go into labor including me and then I might not get a birthing suite...I've heard this happen at the Mercy hospital here but hopefully not at methodist where we are birthing....

Im actually feeling the effects of the full moon today. been contracting strong but not a consistant pattern. woke up this morning with strong contractions 2-3 minutes apart for over 1.5 hours. then 4-5 minutes, but they are kinda petering out...
Had my 1st son the day before a full moon.

Does anyone know the correlation between the moon's cycle and your menstrual cycle? There was a thread about this in the March DDC and I didn't quite understand it. Here is the post. Does anyone know if I should plug in the day I ovulated or first day of my last period or what? This is my first (after a miscarriage) so I don't have any previous births to compare it to.

It looks like what it's saying is that if you put in the day you conceived (or a guesstimate) it will give you the phase of the moon...then you find the phase of the moon closest to your edd...but I'm not waiting for another quarter, thank you very much!

I'm just going to hang a big round flashlight outside my bedroom window and hope for the best.

as long as your flashlight has gravitational pull

Thursday would work for me too. There are a few days of rain coming up too, so maybe a passing storm will bring it on.
