Best wrap for a preemie

I have a friend who just had a 29wker and I'm looking for the best wrap for wearing a preemie. He's very strong (just got off the ventilator only 12hrs old) but will be in hospital for a while. My friend has 12 other kids so something she can use easily would be great.

Any stretchy wrap (like Sleepywrap or Moby) is great and there is also a whole line of clothing designed for skin to skin babywearing for babies up to 15 lbs by Precious Image Creations.

First of all, WOW!!! I would LOVE to have 13.. I guess I;ll make do with 5...
And second of all, suggest to your friend that she wear just a bra top or roll up a cami so that he can be as close to her possible! The Moby/ Sleepy will cover just about her whole upper body so nothing would show

For a full term baby a stretchy wrap, like a Moby is great. For a preemie...get a woven wrap instead. Preemie's need more support than a stretchy wrap provides. The March of Dimes will sometimes donate wraps to moms of preemies and specifically will not use stretchy wraps. They only use woven wraps because they provide the support that preemies need.

ETA: Another recommendation with a shorter learning curve is a good quality ring sling, like Maya Wrap.

A moby with well placed prefolds would do the trick. A woven wrap is also a good idea.

Anything stretchy. I loved my Moby and Israeli stretchy wraps as newborns.

I second the suggestion of Precious Image Creations' kangaroo care clothing line. That's what I wore DS in all the time the first few weeks. The skin-to-skin was great.
And they are a little pricey but held up well, I am still wearing them for my nursing nightgowns 2 yrs later and they are still in great shape.
