Just a funny birth story...not mine though!!

My mw told me a story today about a lady who gave birth in the elevator on her way to L & D of the hospital we're going to be at. She was so embarrassed when the doors opened and the nurse found her. The nurse tried to calm her down and ease her embarrassment by telling her that last year a woman didnt even get INTO the hospital and had her baby in the Emergency entrance. The woman who delivered told her THATS why shes so embarrassed, it was HER who delivered in the entrance the last time too!!!

She decided for her 3rd and 4th kid that she would homebirth and had both kids at home, my mw only made it to 1, she delivered FAST!!!

Funny story! My sister almost delivered in the elevatorl. Baby was crowning by the time the door opened It is quite a funny story as told by my brother in law.
