seriously?

"Vaccinations On the issues of vaccinations we believe in informed consent. This means we look at both sides of the vaccine issue. However, one of our objectives, and for which members and guests come to our forum, is to bring to light the information that is not mainstream and readily available. Though Mothering does not take a pro or anti stand on vaccinations, we will not host threads on the merits of mandatory vaccine, or a purely pro vaccination view point as this is not conducive to the learning process. "

Seriously? If someone is looking for info I am not "allowed" to take a completly provax standpoint on mothering? My opinions and information on why vaccines are important is not invited? Really, people talk about mainstream parents being so close minded, what do you call this. If you vax go away. If you formula feed, go away. If you circ, go away. You are not wanted or respected? I am honestly really offended lately with how one sided all the info on here is. Just my 2 cents.

Mothering is the website for Mothering Magazine, a Natural Family Living magazine.

The magazine is not "anti-vax" it is anti-mandatory vax." It is in favor of informed consent.

It is anti-routine medical circumcision. There is no medical reason for routine circumcision.

It does promote breastfeeding and adheres to the WHO Code. If you need to ask something about formula you can, but you cannot discuss "merits" of formula feeding.

We aren't here to be everything to everyone. This board is *paid for* by Mothering, the paid staff is paid by Mothering and the moderators are instructed to uphold Mothering's ideals.

We don't pretend we don't take sides, we do. This board was originally created for Mothering readers, it has grown beyond that, but we still uphold the same ideals.
