Does anyone know where to get a button or patch for your diaperbag? I would love to have on! I'm kinda picky, nothing putting circ down, just being happy to be intact.

have you checked Cafe Press?

I was just there! Look what I found, they come in packs of 10, if anyone likes it, they should PM me....

if not I'll pay the extra and just get one.

hmmm. That link didn't work properly. Just click on "Red Badge" at the top.

There were several of the red ones being handed out at the demonstration in Washington, DC, only they are a dark raspberry/burgundy color with a pinkish circle. It's the symbol from the International Symposiums for Genital Integrity.

I got a few of them! I wear two of them on my Ergo carrier - on on each front strap - no where where the baby can reach it.

I have made my own with the blank 'photo buttons' you get at the drug stores. I created simple text in Word and played with the sizing until I got it right. The problem is, the cheap buttons keep falling apart and falling off no matter how much I tape them up.

I looked at Cafe Press, and the only pre-made one I saw that I liked was 'foreskin is not a birth defect' which is great but the size is smaller than what I want but I'll probably get it anyways. I wanted to make my own graphic to put on their button but I don't have the expertise or correct software. I have to upload a picture file to CP, not just a word document.

You can buy a genital integrity pin from genitalautonomy.org. Here is the red badge:

I like the genital integrity one too! I didn't "see it" but the tab on my browser showed a little one

a little OT,
PuppyFluffer, I'm glad you added that to your siggy everytime I see a post of yours I think "ewww"
A little secret: I didn't add that to my sig....some mystery admin or moderator did it. I've never placed my own signature besides my first name so what ever you see there is the handiwork of one of the silly mod/admin team! They might even take suggestions.

I'm a professional dog groomer. I only recently learned that the word fluffer had a different meaning than how I use it - one who creates cute clean fluffy doggies.
That's all the more funny being that an admin felt the need to put that on your siggie
I always felt a bit 'tounge in cheek' also when I see your posts I figured you were a dog groomer though

It's a fun thing from my moderating days! LOl

The wiki will tell you what a fluffer does, I didn't know that either.
Erm, I had no idea what a fluffer was and just looked it up.

Now now folks, can we get this back on topic!

I don't know this has taken an interesting turn, are you also a dog breeder?

And it wasn't me who messed with Karen's signature. Back to pins, please

No. I've never had any litters, just a personal pets. I've never had more than three dogs at a time. Currently I have a very old wonderful bearded collie that I don't expect to have more than a year. After he's gone, I think I'll be dogless until my youngest is about 3 or 4. I just don't have the time to give a dog what it needs AND care for three young kids!

Marilyn Milos was wearing the silver pin as a necklace when I saw her in DC. She was also handing out the plastic pins. Maybe contact her for info on how to get one?

Of course, I don't know, but to whomever it was, that was a good pickup.
