Finn Henry is here!

He was born at 8 pm on April 7, just a day after his due date, at home, and we're all doing well.
9 lbs, 10 oz - he's a big boy!

My water started a slow leak three days earlier, but I was able to avoid an induction, and labor was relatively fast and intense once it started. A few complications at the very end, but my midwives dealt with them very well, and everyone is doing great. We're so happy to have him here! It was my first home birth, and it's so nice to be home this time...

Our first homebirth was such a relaxing experience, and a contrast to our older dd's hospital birth that it added to our new-baby high in a big way! I talk about home birth every chance I get! I hope our homebirth plans work out again this time. So far, so good ...
