Automated Alert System

New Alert System Announcement: Beginning 2/19/09, MDC will switch over to an automated Alert system which will help the MDC staff to handle all User Agreement violations. This automation will streamline moderation and enable members to have a copy of their own User Agreement violations. Starting 2/19/09, a copy of each Alert, Warning and Reminder will be saved in the Alert Tab which is located in each member's User CP via the "Your Profile" link.

Each Moderator Alert will equal one point. An Administrative Warning will equal three points. Warnings, which will equal three Alerts, will be issued at the discretion of the Administrators. If a member reaches 9 points, the software will automatically suspend the account for a period of 30 days. After the suspension, if a member receives an additional 9 points, membership will be removed.

Based on the severity of the violation or the number of previous violations by a member, the Administrator may issue a warning, suspension or ban. We reserve the right to delete any message or to remove the registration and membership of any individual at any time. Please see the Recourse section of the User Agreement.

Reminders do not affect your account's status. Reminders carry no points, and they are simply a way for Moderators and Admin. to contact you to discuss a post, thread, signature or other issue. Please see previous Q&S discussion here for more information.
