She lead me to that book and at 15 I sat down with my parents and my teachers and told out my plan for what I wanted to do with school. I got to stay in school for theatre and math and be home for the rest, which I made up on my own. It's a huge reason I decided I wanted to homeschool my own kids.

I'm sincerely hoping that we like the k-12 virtual program enough to use it through out, and then I'll get to 'attend' high school again.

I know I missed a lot. I did really poorly at paying attention and never did my homework. I wouldn't mind 'going back' and learning again.

I bought the older kid/adult history book by the author of SOTW for myself :
