What kind of fabric would you use?

DS is gnawing/sucking on my ergo straps. I want to make some strap covers that I can detach and wash easily. What would you use?

Terry cloth and velcro. That what I used.

That sounds great! I've been thinking it over and I came up with cutting and hemming a prefold. I figured that would absorb a lot of drool. I may do both. The prefold for now, and then get some terry next time I'm out. Thanks!
