
Sorry Bexo! That is what happened to me the first time around and I remain convinced that if I had waited longer that labor would have started on its own. I recently read that (off the top of my head) 75% of babies will be born within 24 hours of spontaneous rupture of membranes and 90% will be born within 48 hours of rupture. I know firsthand how frustrating this can be! Try and discuss all options with them, how is baby? Do you have enough fluid in there being replenished that it isn't too much of a concern? Can you start oral antibiotics and give it another x hours? You are doing good and whichever way you go you're doing whats right for you and your LO in this particular situation. Hang in!
