Labor Alert x 2

My water broke this morning, too - just an hour or so ago. Come on out, little baby bunny!

No major cx yet, but it couldn't be a more perfect time; I got a good night's sleep last night (Brynn stayed with her Grammy), and then got up ate around 7:30, and then went back to bed until 10:00! When I got up, whoosh, my water broke! Nice and clear, so no worries for me (thank goodness!) and now I'm just puttering around. Took a shower, made a smoothie, and will probably update my blog while I can.

Jason is going to go get Brynn so she can come hang out with us for a while this morning, and then she'll head back to Grammy's for the afternoon and until the babe is born.

I'm very excited, and feel like everything is just perfect!

Looks like we're in this together, Amy!!!! I'll be thinking of you!!!! My water began gushing at 10:00 am, but I haven't had very many strong contractions yet. Nevertheless, I have a feeling we'll both be meeting our babies today!!!! Best of luck to you!!!!

Me too Bex. I have been having Cx that are getting stronger, but not regular yet. I'm going to go listen to my hypnobabies birth-day affirmations CD and then go for a walk to see if we can get things going a little more. I have been eating and drinking; I'm thankful that I still have an appetite.

Just kinda in a holding pattern until things start moving along!

Wellll, not exactly a lot going on here. I started having regular contractions around 1:30, and they were 7 minutes apart for about 4 hours, gradually getting more intense. Then they jumped to 3-4 minutes apart for about 30 minutes, and then..... nada. They've totally tapered off to ~10 minutes apart. :

I'm kind of bummed because I was really hoping to labor and birth during the day, I don't want to be up all night. I called my MW and she said I can just choose to let it go, and maybe they'll pick up and maybe they won't, or try to get them going stronger with nipple stim or something like that. She's comfortable waiting until tomorrow morning before trying anything herbal to get things moving (which I hope we won't have to do). So I dunno.

I am fine, the babe is good - he's still moving around, and I listened to his heart with the stethescope and it sounds normal to me.

So, there ya go. I thought I'd have a baby by now!
