Excellent Blog Posts

I just wanted to share these three blog postings as an excellent example of well thought out rational points which touch on each aspect of this issue from purported benefits to pain to overall ethics. The third link is essentially a short recap of the first two but I strongly encourage everyone to read the first two, they are long but worth your time if only to sharpen your skills as it were.

I wanted to add, I've had this thought before but Tony's post brought it to the front of my mind again. For new parents when they ask how to handle the hospital staff situation when being asked if they want to circumcise, they should respond with, "Why, is there a problem, wasn't he born health?" (or something like that) And say it with genuine concern, the kind you would have if there was really something wrong. Who knows maybe that would get some neurons firing in their heads.

Thanks JW! This is a great resource, sort of a primer for how to answer pro-circ arguments for circ and pro-circ criticisms of the genital integrity point of view. It's not a perfect piece, but a good reference and starting point.
