My daughter River Lark was born on Friday, 4/10 via planned c-section (due to breech position and nuchal cord). She weighed 7 lbs 4 oz at birth. She is healthy and adorable! Yay!

Getting to meet her mama
She sucked in a bunch of amniotic fluid on her way out and needed oxygen afterwards. I didn't get to hold her for three hours, but her daddy was in the nursery with her and got to give her her first bath. Now she's doing great. She's nursing like a pro and is very happy that my milk is starting to come in. We came home from the hospital yesterday, and I seem to be recovering fairly well.
I can't wait to catch up on everyone else's news and birth announcements!:
