Anybody know anything about antigens??????

I recently came across a newspaper article that stated that the total number of vaccines a child gets may be more than the old days but that the total number of antigens the child receives is way less because the vaccine technology has improved. This is not really changing my current stance but I want to have this info in case people (my MIL sent me the article) ask me about it. Has anybody heard of this? Found a good site?

This is an article/graph by Paul Offit, so I may not happen to take what it says at face value...but that's just me

I think in general it is true since there are no longer whole cells being used in vaccines. Personally the number of antigens is not what concerns me the most. Also I think there may be more antigens in vaccines than we are led to believe.

Yes, but, the delivery route of the Ag would never occur in nature. Vaccine defenders are sure to compare these apples to oranges then call you scientifically illiterate though.

Yes, we are supposed to be impressed because they altered ONE highly reactive vaccine to contain less antigens?

They're grasping at irrelevant straws. Sure there are fewer antigens than a decade ago, but there are more doses, which means more of everything else.

It is a magician's maneuver. Stage magic works by distracting the observer so they miss what is really going on. Offit likes to wave around antigens to distract us from more doses, more vaccines, earlier, without testing of the combinations for interactions, etc.
