"Um, why is there a box of condoms on the dog's crate?"
"Well, where do you keep YOUR condoms?!"

Reviving this thread for a moment. . . .

Should witch hazel have alcohol in it? I just looked at my (expired) bottle and there is a % of alcohol listed. I would think this would burn, no? Is it possible/necessary to find pure witch hazel for postpartum purposes?

Thanks!

In the hospital they gave me frozen preemie diapers to use as pads. I don't know if they got them wet and then froze them or what, but the coolness definitely helped. I really like the frozen condom idea from a pp!

I got some spray from the drug store that sort of numbs you, but I HATED it. I forget what it was called - it starts with a D.

Yes! Dermaplast! My husband loves it - uses it all the time and puts it on my two year old when he scrapes his knees. I think my son hates it as much as I do! It never felt good to me!

I almost bought the one with the alcohol in it and thank god my hubby noticed it. I can imagine it burns. I bought one alcohol-free which has aloe vera in it. The brand is Thayers Natural Remedies I think.
