Favorite lesser known TV series?

Thread Starter
Any quirky, or just less popular suggestions that you love? I'm thinking foreign (I'm in the U.S.), shorter-lived, or older, for instance. I really enjoy watching series on Netflix.

Some things I've liked (popular and less so) include:

Ballykissangel
Gilmore Girls
The Office (British version)
24
Six Feet Under
All Creatures Great & Small

What do YOU like?

Jericho (Going to the fan reunion next weekend and get to meet lots of the cast and crew!

Leverage

Bones

Loved Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip when it was on as well as Sportsnight.

Wonderfalls
Freaks and Geeks
Undeclared
Dead Like Me
Sportsnight
Futurama

These aren't on major networks, but I think they are fairly well-known:
Psych
Eureka
Burn Notice

We did Hex (BBC) season 1 but can't seem to find season 2. It was okay.
MI-5 (also BBC) season 1 was good, but I haven't gotten around to the other seasons, whatever that means...

Veronica Mars was pretty good the first season. I didn't dig the other seasons.

Cowboy Bebop is a favorite of mine.

Love those! I wish I could have told the 1900 house people about the baking soda and vinegar trick!

I also like Skins and Dr Who on BBCA

Black Books (British sit com, half-hour episodes, HILARIOUS. If you liked Fawlty Towers, this is a pretty safe bet I think, but it's modern and even funnier.)

Dead Like Me

Miracles (only 1 season, supernatural/unexplained phenomena being explored by an ex-priest and some investigators. Stars Skeet Ulrich from Jericho.)

I liked Keen Eddie a lot. Now THERE'S an obscure show, I think I must have been the only one who watched it!

Freaks and Geeks - great!
Friday Night Lights - one of the best/under rated shows on TV IMHO.
Veronica Mars - love it!
