Love threads like this because I always get great ideas of shows to watch! 4400 looks good -- can anyone tell me if it is 'resolved' by the end, or if it leaves the viewer hanging due to being cancelled? Don't really want to start watching it if it's going to be dissapointing

Not sure if these are popular or not because I watch all my TV online, but here's what I've been enjoying:

Damages
Flashpoint
Mad Men
Dexter
Californication (first season only)
Brotherhood

Always keeping my eye out for a new great "lesser known" show!

I realized that after I wrote the OP and never went back to correct it: Oops.

Another funny British show is "Muder Most Horrid" starring Dawn French. I haven't watched that in a while, but it was pretty funny. Speaking of Dawn French, did anyone mention "The Vicor of Dibley?" My dad watched that and loved it.

I haven't seen anyone mention "Cold Feet" yet.

Quirky, right amount of drama and comedy.

Little Mosque on the Prairie. Love this show. No clue how I heard about it. Can't wait for the next season and also when S2&3
come out on dvd. I have S1 now.

On the CBC site you can only watch it if you're in Canada. I know I've tried. But there is a site that has all of the eps on it. It's mostly from youtube and they are usually broken into three parts but at least it's all in one place and you don't have to search for it. Clicky
