Bleeding...

I have been bleeding since yesterday.... it is not just spotting but it is not like a period either as it doesn't really get to the pad... but it is bright red with tiny clots... no cramps or pain...

I don't know what will come but I am trying to be optimistic... it is hard though...

Paxye - I know what you're going through. I had the same thing last week, it stopped by itself and doc said not to worry (impossible, right?)

I had that with my first. Bright red and sometimes a quick gush but mostly not making it to a pad. It all turned out fine! I totally thought it WAS my period, just a weird one and went to the doc complaining of nausea shortly thereafter. My OB said it was possibly an artery on my cervix that was aggravated by the hormonal change. I had it on and off throughout the first and second trimesters. Baby was full term and healthy!

awww paxye I read your blog, how frustrating! I will say that I had a miscarriage at only 5 weeks last summer and it was much heavier than a normal period as well as being bright, deep red and full of clots. So what you describe does not sound to me like a miscarriage. Good luck! Wishing you peace :

well I continued spotting and yesterday I passed a large clot and then later I took another pregnancy test and it was negative...

So, I am pretty certain that I miscarried...

I had no pain or cramps and I never bled more than heavy spotting...

Paxye, I'm so sorry for your loss. You were in my last DDC (December 2006) when Khéna was born. Take care of yourself.
