Allergy Elimination Diet w/ almost 5 year old

Before I being this corn, soy, dairy, oats, peanut & gluten free diet that the chiro. suggested because of the applied kinesiology, maybe it would be good to get these confirmed. The only thing I can think of is the ED. BUT- how can I tell when I add things in, how he reacts. He's very non-reactive, except for acid reflux (which he's quiet about and I can only tell when he makes a face). He has Crohn's but I don't think his tummy pain is from that- I know his body doesn't do well on certain foods because after he eats, he looks unwell and he doesn't enjoy eating. I just want to know how I'm going to tell. Will I just "be able to"? What was your experience?

I have an 8 year old. I ask him (3x/day or more) to rate his stomachache on a pain scale of 1-10. He's pretty good about it. That was his main symptom when I was trying to figure out the last things (which turned out to be corn, green beans, and almonds). So if you want to try it, take them all out at once (for at least 2 weeks), then add 1 back in for 1-2 days, and wait a couple of days, noting symptoms/asking pain. Personally I would take it back out. If he gets symptoms back, wait until the symptoms clear before trialing a new food. Need more details? Or does that not make sense? Keep a food diary the whole time so that you know what he ate and when.
