How to take care of wool

Is wool harder to take care of than other fabrics? It looks so soft and cuddly

Wool is pretty easy and doesn't need to be washed as often. You do need to hand wash and line dry but it isn't hard.

Once you get your wool you should lanolize it to be sure it will do it's job. In between changes let them air out/dry and then reuse. If they get poopy or start to smell that's when you wash again.

Wool isn't hard, you just have to wash it separately from everything else. Generally you should hand wash and lanolize occasionally. I use Eucalan wool wash when I wash and rarely have to lanolize. Like PP said, I only wash when the cover gets poopy or starts to smell like pee. If the absorbancy starts to decline, that's when you need to lanolize.

In some ways wool is easier because it doesn't need to be washed every time it is used. I feel like that makes up for the hand washing aspect - which I tend to put off - but the wool is quite forgiving
