red ring around anus always and allergy???

my babe has always had this ring around her anus. now she has some red spots on her cheeks. she is 10 months old---both breast milk and formula fed. she also eats all veggies...some fruit....meat...beans...cheese....recently yogurt. dairy allergy????

she also has had a stuffy nose the past month. she is also developing some ezcema in the diaper regions.

the pediatrician thought it looked like either a strep, staph, or yeast infection. (plus the ezcema).

we use weleda diaper cream. do diaper free every night for 30 minutes.

thoughts/suggestions?

sounds like a diaper rash to me ?? Boudreaux's Butt Paste is great for those.

Between the stuffy nose, the red ring and eczema, that screams allergy to me. I have an allergic babe and those are the main signs that she is reacting to something.

My daughter has had the same thing. The day that it was really bad I had fed her lentils and strawberries. I have since fed strawberries and it was ok. So I am guessing it was the lentils.

If your formula is milk based then it shouldn't be the yogurt/cheese. Have you fed anything new recently?
