I found the Unofficial Guide to be much more informative. They have great touring plans, even with little ones, that save a ton of time waiting in lines. We didn't follow the plans on our first trip and did on the second trip and the difference in the amount we saw and the smoothness of our visit was like night and day.

I agree that the disboards are great.

We have a guide called Disney with kids, I also printed brochures pointing out the best stuff for little ones. Good idea about going left at intersections! And I'm glad to know that about the water. I decided not to take the umbrella stroller and take the graco instead since the seat reclines for naps and it has a sunshade and basket. So one more question what's the weather like? I check it every day and it always says it's 70 with a high of 80 but
It never seems to hit 80. Should I pack lots of pants and long sleeves?

I found the water smelly at the resort (Caribbean Beach) as well as in the parks, and it wasn't just pregnancy hypersensitivity as the rest of the gang noticed it (but not as much) too...but maybe it's gotten better. Anyway, a twist of lemon does a good job of killing the taste in water and other lemon-compatible beverages! You might want to bring a particularly nice-scented shampoo if you wear your hair around your face; I had to pull mine back after I'd washed it in that water.

I was there the first week of May and was comfortable in short sleeves and long pants most of the time. I only swam once, on the hottest day. It rained every day, most days lightly for an hour or so in the afternoon, one day torrential downpour for several hours. My mother-out-law had brought cheap rain ponchos that fold into little pouches, and those were really useful!

My only advice is that to make sure your little one plays only in the swimming pool water and not in the water at the beach. Those lakes are nasty nasty.

Enjoy your holiday, and Disney sell pb&j uncrustables at all the hotel food courts.

I was at WDW recently, and it was so fun to see all the various baby carriers. Ergos, slings, BB, all colors-- it's kinda neat. I'd bring the stroller, too, as it can get hot and it's nice to have palce to lay a sweaty babe out, and strollers are good gear -haulers.

I cannot drink Orlando water; I absolutely hate it. I always get bottled water. In a pinch, adding lots of ice helps. Ice water isn't quite so horrible.

Disney also has organics-- yogurt, milk, Annie's Mac and some other things. Frsh fruit cups are everywhere as well. They also have GF items. They are not on the menu, but you can ask for them. Call guest services beforehand, or inquire at the hotel front desk when you get there and ask about where/how.

I just returned and it was in the mid to high 80's there- even when they said it was going into the low 80's.

We just got back and had a great time. I thought the water was ok except for in the Magic Kingdom, which was horrid. It was hot but not too hot. The hotel did sell bread. We ate almost all the food I brought though so I'm glad I bought so much. We had a great time but I wish I'd planned our trips to the parks better, I didn't research what to do ahead of time. I also wish I'd taken advantage of the special hours for resort guests. It would have been good to build more time into our schedule for just hanging out at the hotel pool, the day we did the pool 4 hours and epcot 3 was prob my fav. But we did a lot and saw a lot with almost no meltdowns. It was a great time.
