My not yet 3 year old is sewing!

My dd wanted this "Learn to Sew, Sew a Bear" kit from Hobby Lobby. It's two felt pieces with holes where the needle is supposed to go. The needle is plastic and blunt. I thought, okay, let's play with that, she won't finish it BUT she did it! With supervision of course, but she did it! Guess all my knitting and crocheting and sewing in front of them (ds and dd) made her curious. Who would have thought. Unfortunately my ds likes scissors...

oh I am going to have to find a kit like this for my kids. They are dying to learn to sew!!! Thanks for posting about this and hooray for your DD! : I learned to sew when I was 7yo and won't ever forget that feeling!

That's great! My DD loves sewing cards, and this would be a great activity!

My dd is 2.5 and loves to "sew".
