Had my first OB visit yesterday. She decided to do an u/s to check my dates out thanks to that freaky-high hCG level. Turns out there is only one baby in there (she looked and looked for another), dates are pretty right-on (I calculated 7 weeks, bean measured 7 weeks 1 day). JB and my OB saw the heartbeat, but from the angle I was at I couldn't see it, which bummed me out. She did focus the cursor or whatever on that little flicker and did whatever it is they do that allows you to hear the embryonic heart rate, so at least I got that. 190 bpm is what it came out to. NT scan in 5 weeks. So far, so good. Just gotta stay cool and not over-think things.
