Thank you! Yes and no. I used the CO and decreases from this pattern. But I didn't follow the pattern for the top leaf, I just made my own. The earflaps are also my own, as are the ties, and roses. All very simple. I made the earflaps first, and then knitted them into the hat.

Mine is a strand of Paton's Classic Merino in Leaf, and a strand of Knitpicks Imagination in Frog Prince.

The baby hat is Lion Brand Organic cotton (I don't remember the color), Paton's Merino in Leaf, and knitpicks Essential in Carnation.

Those are both works of art! I love how you combined yarns, I never would have thought of that! Your hat reminds me of copper with a patina, at least in the pic.

Is there a pattern for your hat?
