Visiting from May, but I just wanted to wish you all the best; I'm so happy for you that you were able to get him out in time, and I hope that he strengthens quickly and is home with you before you know it!
Crashing from May...Oh wow Jules, I'm sorry for the hard situation and that your baby had to come early, and for the difficulty he's had. I'm glad you went in though and that he's being well taken care of, and most of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Take each day a day at time and soon you will be able to hold and cuddle him.
Thank you everyone so much for your messages of support. It means so much to know that you are all thinking of and praying for little Lachlan. My husband has started a blog and is documenting what has been happening. I really wish you all the best for your babies, and I hope they are all born big and fat and healthy! Here is the link for the blog:
Oh Jules, I'm so sorry to hear of all the trouble/problems you guys and poor little Lachlan have had. Just read through the blog now and will have you and your beautiful boy in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so sorry your family is going through this. Our was a totally different situation, but we had a newborn in the NICU with liver disease and subdermal hematoma (bleeding on the brain), so I know how hard this can be. Try to take care of yourself and get as much rest as possible. I also found that pumping milk actually helped my stress level.
