I went to a "mothers for breastfeeding" meeting last month and enjoyed getting a chance to get involved with something I feel so passionate about. Basically, the Breastfeeding Taskforce of Los Angeles is organizing it. The woman coordinating it is Ellen Steinberg (my lacation consultant - hence, how I knew about the meeting) and it was only the second meeting ever so they are still pretty much in the introductory stages. Still, it was fun to be with the other moms and babies and exciting to think about getting involved in a more proactive way.
