We never know how we will handle birth till we are acutally there...and every time it's different...so good just just listening to what your body needed and birthing a healthy baby no matter where it happened!!!!

Congratulations to you! I know what you mean, wanting drugs. I was there, but had a great doula. You progressed quickly! I'm hoping I'll the same next time. It took me forever to get past 5! Maybe your movement to the hospital brought your baby down and ready to come out? I had to "rock" my baby through the pelvis - exhausting, but so worth it! :

Birth can be so unpredictable. You have to go with your gut and transfer if it says transfer. Perhaps the car ride brought her down finally?
