curb walking

So, I tryed curb walking tonight. Not such a good idea for me. I ended up falling down, thankfully only on my knee, but I feel like crap. My back and hips are hurting. It was kind of funny though. There were other people near when it happened and they gasped in shock. I couldn't help but laugh at myself. So, now I think I'm off to try some things not so dangerous for me. Good luck to your mamas still in waiting. I'm waiting right along with ya. Hopefully someone will go into labor tonight.

you probably scared them - I know if I were to fall people would look horrified....but then again i look like a beach whale if I were to end up on the ground.

Whats curb walking?

I about fell at the pool today, I caught the wall on my way down though thank goodness. A very pg woman waddling around on slick tile floors trying to get to the toilet for the 50th time is a recipe for disaster. I'm glad that you were ok.

It is where you walk with one foot on the curb and one foot on the road. It is supposed to induce labor somehow. It's probably not a good idea though since we pregnant ladies don't have great balance anyway. I honestly think if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't have fallen, but my big belly pulled me down.

Thank you for all your comments. I am feeling much better today. I think I"m going to stick to other remedies to get some contractions going.
