I've heard of that too. I didn't drink as much as I thought I would. See, I have this BPA free 24oz bottle that I drink empty fairly quickly. I thought it was a doable goal. Turns out, I'm a spaz. 8 8oz in a single day is whats rec. If I can do 3 or 4 of those bottles in a day, then I've done well.

I feel like I'm out of my mind! What the heck is wrong here? I've lost control of my bladder, everytime I cough I let out a gush of urine! Or fluid (could it be that my water has broken?) I can't tell. And the HEARTBURN is AWEFUL! I read somewhere that heartburn is a cause from the hormone progestrone which causes everything to loosen up just before labor or up to the point of labor... and the bh are more frequent. I do really welcome those. But I feel so out of it.

I'm with you on the bladder issues...

My appointment with the ob is tomorrow then a NST. I'm a freak and actually want them to do an ultrasound to check on babe. I know a lot of women don't, but I want it. So I need to convince the office to give me one. I just would feel much more comfortable that nothing is wrong and it's ok to induce (not this coming week, but after that). I just have little faith in anything right now since I thought baby would be out already.

I want to make sure he's got enough fluid, is not breech, and so forth. I do NOT want to be told a size/weight guess though.

It helps baby change position. It is the same remedy my friend used within an hour of her breech baby turning, but is also recommended for posterior. Can't hurt to try ...

Wishing you and the baby well for your appointment with the OB. Glad I'm not the only one with serious bladder issues. There were zero problems up to this point. COME ON GIRLS DO THOSE KEGALS!!!

Beach was beautiful! We got there around 5:45 or so- it had been hothothot all day and then by the time we got to the beach, was cooling down. We (my son and I) splashed around and danced in the waves but the water was FREEEEEEZING. I am sure I looked crazy in this hot-pink hawaiian print GIGANTIC bathing suit that I got as a hand-me-down, and my giant mint-green sun-hat, but hey. If you can't look crazy when pregnant.... It was darn hard doing the under-the-towel clothing change though, there are very few places on my body where I can maneuver anything at all. We saw pelicans, and then a bunch of dolphins right at sunset, it was really neat. I was feeling so grumpy before we went and it was like that whole bad mood just lifted away in the 2 hours we were there. I am very glad we went. These end-of-pregnancy grouchy spells are really bad!

Now, when my friend gets her baby to sleep for real she is going to come over and do an acupuncture treatment, which will be exciting!

I feel all crampy, feel the pressure and all that, but whats new. That seems to happen every night, and then I wake up bright and early feeling great in the morning.

oh- and the leaky bladder- ugh. It doesn't happen ALL the time to me but once in a while, and I don't even notice! The other day I'd eaten asparagus for dinner, and I totally had that thing where I peed (on the toilet, lol), then got up, and apparently peed a little more without knowing it! I came in to read to my son and he was like, "ew, you are so stinky, I think you need a shower" (he could smell that weird asparagus-pee smell and I was thinking, thank goodness it was my 4yo and nobody else!! I changed my undies asap).

I'm to the point, I could care less what i smell like!

yes, even asparagus pee!

Bladder issues here as well. I either can't pee or I walk around with wet underwear wondering if it's pee or not.

I had dh take a picture today to get my 40 week picture in of my belly...I'm not sharing. I'm freaking huge, compared to last week it's grown even more and I look horrid. Thank goodness I wasn't laying on the floor when he took the picture or I would have looked like a beached whale

I'm trapped in bed with a toddler who keeps waking up every time I attempt to move. She is supposed to be in DH's bed but he is having foot issues again, is well medicated with pain meds, and therefore useless. The 6y is also in bed with me, she has been having insomnia. Sigh, I'm hoping to sneak away and take a tylenol pm because I can tell that is the only way I'll be getting any sleep tonight.
