What do you wear when you go to a concert?

I'm going to see Ani Difranco tonight...I have NO IDEA what to wear. Most of my clothes have paint or mucous on them (lol okay that is exaggerating a little).

But, what would you wear?

Okay, I've never been to see anyone as cool as Ani DeFranco, but I did go to a John Mellencamp concert a couple of years ago. I just wore jeans and a nice tee shirt. Just find a mucus/paint-free shirt and you are good to go!

Years ago ( a very, very long time ago) when I went to see Joni Mitchell and way later Stevie Nicks, I dressed up a little...nice pants, nice shirt.

Please come back and let us know what you wore and how the concert was!

lol NOPE guess you don't know what i ususally wear! lol. I tend to wear VERY casual clothes, sweatshirts, jeans with boogers on them...lol

I ended up wearing a bohemian-ish sleevless shirt and tight khaki colored pants with brown heels. Hard to describe the outfit on here I guess, but my DH thought i looked pretty hot lol

BTW THe concert was AMAAAAAAAAAAZING! I now have such a girl-crush on ani difranco! She is sooooo cool:

Wear clothes that comfortable to you and clothes that fits the concert. If it is a SKA concert, go with your suspender and two-tone shoes. If it is punk/metal, wear your survival gear. LOL

I find that a nice black shirt and jeans/black pants and converse to be appropriate just about anywhere

She's one of my fave and most attended shows I've been too. Think I've seen her at least five times.

In general, and where the venue is, I like to wear a comfortable shirt that won't have me roasting hot by the end of the show, some jeans or a knee length skirt, most importantly with some comfy shoes that I won't mind getting stepped or spilt beer on.
