Laying on left hurts....

does anyone else experiance extreme agony laying on their left side... you know, like we are suppose to try to do..?
the last few days, maybe even a week I"ve been having excrutiating pain if i even try to lay on my left, right is fine.. even mostly on my back leaning slightly to the left is horrible. I've never experianced this before...anyone else? I"m wondering if i should mention it to my OB or if it is a "normal" i've just never experianced?! Or if it is a sign on something bad that maybe i should be calling before my appt?


few other things that have been happening too .... major head pains like shooting pains on the right side, feels like my pelvis/hips are becoming inflamed(happened with #3 feels similar) hmm, seems like other things, I plan to mention most at least to the doc, may request to se a diff one since i think i'm seeing the one who doesnt listen... BP seems good though!

Are you seeing a chiropractor? Often times late in pregnancy a baby tends to favor one side over another and one set of pelvic ligaments can become tight and really painful as you describe because the weight isn't easily distributed. I tend to get it on my left side when the baby hangs out on the right side for a while. One of your hips may feel slightly higher up than the other as well.

that sounds awful! My left side is sensitive too, although doesn't seem to be that bad. He favors my left side and likes to ball up in there and stretch and it gets sore.

I would definately mention it to your dr.

yes, i go more or less weekly to the chiro. baby seems to flip flop sides so i neve know where it will be

i see the OB who listens tomorrow so i'll just take up lots of time explaining everything i guess
