Some prefold questions

Hi!!

My best friend is preggers and she's strongly considering CD, but that's not why I'm writing (I'm sure I will have many more questions in future though!).

I want to make her some of those cute burp cloths with the pretty fabric strip down the center, and I really like the thick quality-feeling ones rather than the cheapies (Gerber maybe?) - what are these and what's the best place to buy them? I obviously don't need the MOST awesome prefolds just for burp cloths, I just want them to feel nice.

Also, is there any reason why she couldn't use aforementioned cute-fabric-added prefolds as diapers?

Check out ebay for a good deal on prefolds or type in 'prefold diapers' in a search and a bunch of web sites should pop up- Green Mountain Diapers is a good site. I personally really like the indian prefolds because they are really soft but chinese are very good too. And I don't see why you couldn't use them as diapers with cute fabric on them.
