I'm not sure what to do

I don't want to inject my boy with added chemicals and unneccessary chemicals from vaccinations and then I'm not wanting him to get sick .

I ended up getting influenza i don't know what type but it was no fun to continue to have this airing pain feeling in your lungs suffering from bronchospasms .

I didn't get a flu shot and neither did my boy so far i'm on the edge with worry because if i'm having issues with breathing what about my boy and it's like i want to head out and get him a flu shot but then I'm like what or I don't know .

how do some people who don't vax at all stay from these influenza illnesses ? I hadn't had influenza forever I don't think but I don't know and this was different than I ever had before.

Then when I get vaxes for some reason they make me have continously throwing up episodes .

But i don't want to risk a 'breathing issue but I don't know .

Stop. Breathe. The flu vax is so incredibly unuseful it really boggles the mind when you stop and think about it. In a *GOOD* year it protects you from ~%30 of the flu virus' going around. So in a "bad" year it protects you from like 5%. Maybe. Its really nutty how they push it *SO* hard when its so ineffective.

The last time I had the flu (or at least, the last time I was really super sick) I was in Spain and layed in my bed for 3 days before I felt well enough to walk to the clinic and get some meds... when my roomates found out I'd BEEN sick (our schedules were such that sometimes I wouldn't see them much... specially on the weekends when I tended to be out late - till 6-9am was normal ), they were incensed... one was like 'I *do* have a car you know...' But yes, the flu can suck, really really badly. But almost nobody actually dies from it. If your LO does get the flu, then take care of him just like you would if he was sick with anything else. And if it gets real bad and/or he's having trouble breathing by all means take'm into the doctor.

And always remember one thing when it comes to vaccines: You can *ALWAYS* do them later. But once they're in, you can *NEVER* take them back.

You are assuming that vaccinating will keep your son healthy. This has not proven to be the case at all. Vaccinated children get sick all the time. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence out there to suggest that they actually get sick more often since vaccines damage the immune system.

In any case, focus on keeping your son's immune system strong. Eat healthyfully, drink pure water, get fresh air, perhaps give him some immune enhancing herbs or supplements.

We don't vaccinate at all and haven't had any vaccine available diseases.

My DH used to have to get the flu shot every year when he worked in the OR at a hospital and he still got the flu the same number of times I did in a season whereas I never got the shot. I kept track every. single. year. So the flu shot is really not that helpful from a prevention perspective. Just because you give the shot does not mean your LO won't get sick.

I have a four year old and a 10 month old and we just had the flu passed through our house last week from DH to baby to me to 4 yr old. It was a long week, but we basically all just vegged out in front of the tv and slept for 4 days straight. I think what upset my DH the most was not being sick but being off work. I personally would have preferred he locked himself away from the baby when he knew he was sick, but he's the type to be on his death bed and still be saying "no, I'm not sick!". So in any case, we all had the flu this winter and *survived*.

There are many things you can do to try to improve immunity, but actually being able to prevent sickness entirely is next to impossible. Trust in your body's ability to heal itself, and the same is true for your LO.

How old is your son?

There is some good evidence that supplementing with zinc, vit C and vit D prevent the flu much better than any shot.

"we already have far better universal solutions that halt flu infections. They’re called vitamin C, zinc and vitamin D.

The real cause of the flu: Nutritional deficiency
In fact, it is nutritional deficiency that causes susceptibility to the common cold, not vaccine deficiency. Ask anybody who lives a natural health lifestyle and takes their nutrition seriously, and you’ll find that they might only catch one cold every five or ten years. I haven’t had a cold for probably eight years or so (can’t remember exactly, because it’s been so long), and of course I would never even think of getting a flu shot."

The simplest way to prevent the flu is to be vigilant about hygiene. You don't have to be a worried germ-a-phobe but be very aware. Don't touch your eyes, nose, mouth in public. Wash hands. Use sanitizer if you can't.

Also, get screened for a vitamin D deficiency and correct it. Take a 1000 to 2000 IU a day, regardless. It is the most overlooked vitamin and has been recently scientifically linked to increased risk of respiratory illnesses (and autoimmune disorders and cancer and... )

The flu shot is not very effective, especially in children. It hasn't been well studied for safety in kids either. Plus, they have found a few kinds of adverse effects in those who tend to get the flu shot annually. I can't find the links. I need to get organized.

With all the research I've done on vaccines, the flu shot was the easiest to cross of the list.

I have had 2 vaccines in my entire life and I am 62 yrs old. How do you think people of my generation survived without all those vaccines?

Vaccines are not designed to keep you healthy. They are there to be sold by a big company that does not give a hoot whether you live or die. They just want to sell, sell, sell and make profits. That is their goal.

We have three grandchildren who are vaccine-free and they have never in their lives needed any medicine at all. No antibiotics either.
They are ages 11, 5, 3. Their parents would not think of ever injecting them with all those toxins. Instead they concentrate in keeping them healthy by feeding them healthy food. They don't get any junk food, no sodas, no candy. They love their vegetables and fruit. But that's how they were raised.

Keep healthy by eating healthy.
