He was 2 years old and 30-ishlbs, he was 7lbs at birth.

My little one is at or close to 5x birthweight (she was 9lbs ?? oz) and she still nurses about every other day.

Anika self-weaned at 19 months so she must have only been about 25lbs. Nowhere near 5x the 7lbs 10oz she started at.

Micah hasn't weaned yet, but considering he is 2 and hasn't even tripled his birthweight yet I doubt he will wean at 5x. He was 9.4 when he was born, so 5x would be 46.4 -- I would be shocked if he hit that by 6 or 7...We'll see though!

DD will be 5 in August and has not weaned yet. She is 36lbs, born at 6lbs 12oz. So, I guess technically she will wean after 5x her birth weight.

No, if that were the case she would be a teenager before she weaned!

DD was 12 lbs at birth and is now 5 years old and 37 pounds. We were so glad she had tripled her birth weight by 5 y/o. I cant imagine how old she will be when she hits 60 pounds.

DS is 25 pounds (was 12lbs 2 oz at birth) at almost 14 months. His weight gain is slowing down like dd so i dont think he will nurse till 5x birth weight either.

DD was 7 14 at birth and just weaned weighing 39.5 lbs. Interesting!
