Diaper recs for our heavy wetter

Just wondering if anyone has any AIO recommendations for our heavy wetter. We've been having problems with wicking on any of the brands that have the lining run right up to the edges in the front and back. We've tried extra soakers, but still the diapers often get wet right up to the edges and then if even the tiniest bit of clothing touches, the moisture gets sucked up into dd's clothes. The Thirsties are the worst for this (all that white fabric trim around the edges), but most other diapers we have do the same thing.

The only ones that do not have this wicking problem for us are Kushies and the BG one-size organic (but the other BG aren't set up this way). Both of these have a band of waterproof fabric on the inside at the front and back. I just ordered a couple Bumkins which seem to also have this barrier.

Are there any others out there that are set up like the ones that work for us? I'm not 100 percent thrilled with either the Kushies (prone to poop blow-outs) or the BG (too bulky on our little 10 lb. girl and the velcro sucks). Or any others that have worked for folks with a similar problem?

I want to stick with the AIOs as this is what hubby likes and he does lots of diaper duty.

if at 10 lbs the baby is already a heavy wetter, it seems like it could only get worse! i know you said you want aios, but with a pocket, you can always add microfiber and hemp stuffers and still have the convenience of them being "like" aios once they are all stuffed up. i stuff mine right after i wash and stack on my shelf so there is no stuffing on the spot. then you can keep a small stack of extras for bedtime or long car rides etc that can be added. i have always sworn by hemp, thirsies makes some nice hemp inserts and so does hemp babies - see below. also we like fuzzi bunz because the snaps both last so much longer AND the baby has a much harder time getting into them...if you know what i mean

We have a Fuzzi Buns but it does not fit dd well. She's a skinny thing and the legs gap a ton! Every time I've tried it, it blows out. Plus it has the wicking at the edges problem too.

So we also need things that can fasten tightly around the legs.

I just hate stuffing the pockets--I don't mind laying extra liners inside (neither does hubby). It's the stuffing that's annoying.

I know you mention wanting AIOs, and I feel ya on the stuffing being annoying... have you thought about fitteds and covers? No extra stuffing, just have to put a cover on. We have a bunch of different fitteds and I love them. Crickets are really good for heavy wetters, and there are a couple other brands that I know mamas on here love.

I like the adjustability of pockets, too.

For AIOs I love Mums Bums. The hemp fleece is nice and absorbant, and there's still a microfleece lining to help protect from wetness.
