Sposies for a super sensitive baby?

We're going to be traveling this weekend for a festival. I've given it a ton of thought, and I think it would be better to do disposables for the day so we don't have to lug around a ton of dirty diapers. I'm still on the fence though, so feel free to convince me otherwise. I would prefer to just take the cloth, but the extra baggage all day is what is stopping me.

DS is super sensitive and broke out last time I used pampers on him. Are seventh generation dipes more sensitive skin friendly?

I did the same thing that you are considering when we went on a week-long rustic cabin excursion in the mountains. I had intended on using cloth, but when it came time to do laundry, it was going to be a total pain in the ass to wait 2 hours in a laundry mat every other day of the trip. So we picked up a package of "365" brand from Whole Foods Market (no bleach, no fragrance) and DS (who has a very sensitive heiny too) did fine with them. I just made sure to air his tush out well between diaper changes and use A+D.

If you decide to bring sposies, it might still be a good idea to have a few clean CDs just in case he has a bad reaction. That way at least you have the option to put him in cloth if you need to, rather than having him with a sore bum the whole weekend. Not sure of the logistics, but if you're driving maybe just toss them in a bag in the trunk, it would be closer than having to go home.

Excellent point. I think I'll bring cloth for the car and night time (hotel), and sposies for the day when we're at the festival. I'll pick some up this afternoon to test them out on him before we go.
