I hear you but it's a slippery slope. From there you have doctors refusing to give women the morning after pill or even discussing it. I won't also mention abortion because that's such a difficult subject and the morning after pill is alot easier to "swallow" no pun intended. But let's say a woman is raped, has no idea if she is pregnant and happens to end up with a doctor who thinks the morning after pill could be harmful to a possible pregnancy? It's reprehensible to me for him to withhold the information about the pill or the pill itself.

And likewise, if a doctor believes it is harmful of a parent to withhold vaccines, they can and are withholding medical care for patients as we see people getting kicked out of practices. In towns with few medical options, this could be a big problem for parents and children. I don't like this either.

The subjectivity of medicine is a problem for everyone and depending on how you fall, someone could be getting denied their right to care.

But I hear you, if a doctor tells a patient why they are against vaccines, and then let's the parent decide, then it does seem more honest.

I hear you too, lol. You made a lot of good points. I guess this last sentence is really how I feel a doctor should handle this situation.

The interesting part? She skipped the pertussis because she thought it was too dangerous. But she did administer it to other babies, according to the usual schedule. This is the only mainstream doctor I've met who admitted to altering the schedule to protect their own baby.

We knew each other as friends, not in a medical setting. She wasn't a practicing physician any longer.
No big surprise here.

Amended my post. In my state one cannot legally purchase or possess syringes without a valid prescription. I see that, in MD, it is much easier to purchase syringes from a pharmacist who acts
