Full Moon

I was hoping there would be a full moon very close to my due date, they say lots of women go into labor. But it is a full 8-10 days after my EDD, it comes on May 9. I think I would be induced by then anyway...

I've had a feeling about May 9th - the full moon. It's a bit after my original due date (May 6th) but before my adjusted one (May 21st). I don't know if I'll go into labor then, or if it'll be something else, just feels like *something* will happen that day!

Well, I went into labor at the new moon, last time. This coming new moon is April 24. Maybe that will be you (our?) day

Oh yes, I am counting on this full moon. My due date is the 12th. My SIL had a dream last night that I had the baby on Mother's Day. She also dreamed I was pregnant just before I found out I was, and that she was a girl with the name we picked. I'm hoping she's right again!!!! (Or heck, I'd love to be earlier, I am SO ready).

Oh, I like the new moon idea. That's this weekend and it sounds good to me. May 9th is a little late. Since I'm a VBAC they only want me to go so late and May 11th is a cut off date. Of course, May 10th is Mothers Day...

May 9th works for me

The full moon is the earliest this baby is allowed to come.

Ooh, new moon would work for me. I am 39 weeks tomorrow and I feel ready. Haha. Anytime baby! Seriously, DS came at 41 weeks and he was SOOOO FAT. I can fatten 'em up with my milk. No need to stay inside.

May 9th is probably too early to be the best time for my baby, but that doesn't mean I won't keep it in mind!

Ditto here; I'll be almost 38 weeks though, so probably fine. I think my EDD is at the new moon (well, one day after).

I am much closer to the June full moon and if that happens I will be less than pleased

May full moon is too soon though...I was really hoping I'd have one near me.

My midwife said it's not statistically significant increase during the full moon. I ovulate on the full moon, and menstruate on the new moon - so maybe that makes a difference fo rsome people who are lunarily-inclinced?

My edd is the 8th, the 9th would be fine but I'm hoping for late day the 10th or any day after so my mom can be there. I did tell DP last night tho that it is official. I am ready. I want to be able to walk normal again. 2w1d and counting!!!

Another thing is pressure changes in the weather or big swings in weather. When I was on bedrest for 6 wks in the hospital with my twins whenever there were big snowstorms or pressure changes there would be a flood of new babies. Watch the weather!

but its a lot more fun to hope that maybe a full moon will do something!

I had M the night it turned from really sunny to really rainy.
It's supposed to start raining today or tomorrow after several days of beautiful sun. I'm ready! That would put weather and moon (new) almost together.

I remember the full moon came and went when I was pg with DD, but the night that I finally kicked over into active labor with her, there were some really bad thunderstorms and even some tornadoes not very far from where we live. This was November, so very unseasonal weather.

So, the low atmospheric pressure thing definitely worked for me.

Hmmm, now I want to go look at the weather report for this weekend...

If the moon is full on the 9th who knows for me bc the is 8 days before my EDD and DH is returning that morning from out of state (leaving Thursday late morning). My Mom is coming in though in case anything happens and I still have DH's parents and SIL1 here (SIL2 is going with DH).

Not sure if it was here or TBW about how someone was trying to track where the moon was they conceived and had given birth bc for them it was basically about the same moon phase for both with her children already birthed. I think someone else was comparing the moon phase to herself to birthing her children. I tried but I really could not remember dates since I was not charting or anything with my boys and DS2 my cycles were still getting back to normal.

The 9th would be nice too bc then baby would be here for Mother's Day though on the 10th would be fine too especially if I got my VBA2C.

I think that would be okay with me. My aunt says she sees a 07 in her head when I asked her when she thought I would go into labor. Who knows!

Oh interesting...I just went to look to see when the full moon was in Aug. 2006 to see if it was close to when I had dd and it was 2 days after she was born.
