Hello, I needed to get some advice on combining activism with parenthood. I have heard some horror stories about CPS being called on tree sitters and other folks who are involved in direct action and with more radical organizations, so I am no longer serving for Food Not Bombs and find myself passing up many education and volunteer opportunities that are more suitable for childless people in favour of "safe" activities such as stuffing envelopes for The Green Party.
I want activism and volunteerism to be an important part of ds's life and his education (I plan on unschooling) but I need a bit of advice on finding a workable "comfort level" for us.
